Meeting in the Light

Sozaku had gathered his students at the training grounds. He sat them down in front of him as he leaned back against a pillar. On his head was tightened his headband. On his back was his trusty summoning scroll. He wore a brown cloak that was tied around his neck. Underneath he was shirtless, showing his battle scars and his physical muscle. He crossed his arms with a smile. He wore black cargo pants that were stuffed in his boots that went up to his knees. He had let his hair grow out slighty and was taking on a bit of a wild look. It had been 8 months since he first gathered and met his students. In just that short amount of time the had shown great progress and great skill. But it wasnt only them who had become stronger. He himself had also rose to a great height. He had surpassed every ninja in the village and was dubbed the ambassador, Shinobigashira.

His students well on the path to become great themselves. Senka and Ryolu had rose to chunin rank, Cross had become a Special Jonin. Nothing made him prouder then to see them coming along. I gathered you all here today to congratulate you all on your rank promotions. You have all surpassed my expectations. He pushed off the wall and bowed to them. You all have my thanks. He lifted his head up and smiled at his students. As you know i also have been given a rank promotion to Shinobigashira. But this does not mean that i will be to busy for you. You will all be accompanying me on official business whenever it is required. He put his arms across his back and began to pace back and forth. Also the war is heating up. Since you are all now strong enough you will be deploying with me tomorrow. Say your goodbyes tonight. We leave at daybreak. With that said he gave his students on final solute and walked off. He was off to say goodbye to his parents. It was war and nothing could be certain. Even returning alive.

Senka sat in front of her master. She was happy about her recent rank promotion. She had worked hard these past 8 months. She had learned a lot and became stronger. But it wasnt only her. Her teammates as well had risen up rank. Cross had surpassed them both. He had went ahead of them and was more experienced. She was determined to become stronger then him one day. She paid close attention to her master. First he congratulated and thanked them, then he told them some great news. They would be sent out to the front lines to fight side by side in the war. This was their chance to prove themselves. To show just how strong they were. As Sozaku began to walk off she stood up and turned towards him. Sozaku-sama! Congratulations to you to on the promotion. She bowed to him to show gratitude and respect. She then turned towards her teammates. Good job to you guys too. She said with a smile.

Cross sat and heard his Sensei's speech. He had come far since studying under Sozaku. He was a Special jonin, now strong enough to have a team of his own. He looked at his teammates. They had grown as well both of them reaching chunin. But were they ready? Cross had seen the horrors of war. Ninja killing ninja and death and despair everywhere. Even the Kage wasnt uninjured in these battles. Meiji himself had sustained damage but luckily he was able to complete his mission. After the speech he bowed to his master and watched as he walked off. He looked towards the sky A storm is brewing. Im glad i have you 2 to watch my back. He smiled and began to walk off. They would be shipping out soon enough.
